About the Business
When performing sleight of hand in a close up environment where the artiste can mix and mingle amongst the guests at close quarter, he might be called be called a mix and mingle conjuror, wandering or walk around magician. Other names include a strolling conjurer, roaming, roving illusionist or mingling entertainer. On the occasions that the magic performer is entertaining for seated dinning guests he might then be called table magician or dinner party magician. If performing in a stand-up surrounded manner they could be described as stand-up magician or parlor conjurer.
The name DORIAN is a bit strange and could be mispelled as Dorrian, Dorien, Dorrien, Dorion or even Dorean. It's not to be mistaken with the name's Darius, Damien or Dominic. The easiest way to remember it is to think of Oscar Wilde's book 'The picture of Dorian Gray'. Friends just tend to call him Dorz or Dor. Some even call him "that magician who sounds a bit like Rhod Gilbert."
