About the Business
My name is Uncle Charley, sometimes known as Richard Charley (please don't tell the children). I live in Shinfield, Reading with my wife Christine.
I have been entertaining children for over 25 years and have performed many thousands of shows. It is a great way of earning a living and I still get a real buzz from every show I do.
The majority of my work comes from recommendations and re-bookings, returning to the same organisation year after year. I have entertained at one pre-school every Christmas for the past 24 years.
